- Plans two membership meetings (Winter Summit and Annual Convention)
- Selects the meeting site for the Annual Convention, in consultation with the Chairman of the Board

- Selects the speakers educational programs at the meetings
- Identifies social and recreational programs associated with the Annual Convention
- Develops the committee annual budget
Education and Scholarship Committee
 Chairman - Terry Bartsch
- Identifies and develops member services that will enhance the value of membership in the Association
- Identifies and develops educational programs benefiting the members
- Identifies methods of providing effective learning experiences for the membership
- Oversees the scholarship programs of the Association
- Develops the committee annual budget
- Recommends criteria to the board for the awarding of BEMA scholarships
- Evaluates scholarship applications
- Awards scholarship funds up to the amount determined by the Board of Directors
International Committee
Chairman - Damian Morabito
- Identifies global issues of concern to the members
- Networks with international organizations
- Gathers and disseminates appropriate industry information and statistics to the membership
- Develops the committee annual budget
Market Research Committee

- Identifies research problems to study the potential benefits to the membership
- Conducts surveys and disseminates the findings to the membership
- Gathers market research relating to the baking industry and disseminates the information to the membership

Membership Committee

- Identifies and develops strategies for membership recruitment and retention
- Identifies potential members
- Solicits new members
- Makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on membership applications

Marketing Committee

- Provides input on how to enhance the awareness and credibility of BEMA
- Recommends marketing and public relations strategies for BEMA
- Assists with development and review of association's newsletters
- Assists with development of association's exhibit displays

Standards & Regulations Committee

- Identifies regulatory concerns affecting the members and provides recommended courses of action for the association
- Participates in standards setting organizations representing the interests of the members
- Develops strategies to influence the standards setting and regulatory process
- Disseminates information to the membership on standards and regulations
- Monitors sanitation issues in the baking industry
- Develops the committee annual budget
Trade Relations Committee

- Promotes positive relations with affiliated baking industry associations
- Composed of association members that serve in leadership positions with affiliated baking industry associations
- Disseminates information of affiliated baking industry associations to the BEMA membership
- Prepares annual budget funding level recommendations for baking industry organizations
