Name Badges
Name badges are provided for all registered attendees. Your name badge is required at all organized functions. Name badges will be available at the BEMA registration desk.

While you never know exactly what Mother Nature will bring, San Juan is typically hot in June. Maximum temperatures average +88°F. The minimum temperatures are +77°F.

Puerto Rico is a United States territory. Daily Resort Fee
The standard daily resort fee has been reduced to $38 per day for BEMA Convention guests and includes:

• Wireless internet access and designated public areas
• Two bottles of water placed in-room daily
• Guest transportation services around the resort and common areas
• Access and equipment to tennis and pickleball courts
• Welcome drink upon arrival (1 per guest)
• Daily Resort Activities & Games Report
• 24-hour access to fitness center
• Nightly entertainment at lobby bar
• Unlimited Toll-free local calls
• Filtered water stations throughout the property
• Non-motorized watersports (kayak and paddleboard)
• In-room coffee and tea

*The resort fee is per room, per night in double or single occupancy rooms added to the room rate and 9% occupancy tax. There is no charge for children twelve (12) years of age and under, sharing the same room as the parents and using existing bedding. There will be an additional charge of $40 for the third and $40 for the fourth person thirteen (13) years of age or older in all categories. The maximum number of persons per room is four (4).

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: May 14, 2025.  After this date, BEMA cannot guarantee availability and rates.

Guaranteed Reservations
All reservations will require a non-refundable deposit equal to first night’s group room rate and tax at the time the reservation is confirmed.

Baker & Speaker Guests
Bakers are guests of BEMA and do not need to book their own hotel room.  Emily Bowers will assist you in securing your reservation, as well as making any modifications.

BEMA has reserved various room types for our group. Prices are exclusive of tax, resort fee and parking fees.

Need more space? BEMA has secured a limited number of connecting rooms as well as a limited number of suites that will accommodate larger families. Please email Kelly Allen for assistance booking suites or connecting rooms.

*Sleeping room rates are quoted in US Dollars exclusive of applicable taxes and resort fee. A resort fee of $38 per night plus 9% tax per room per night will be charged.

Parking is available for $25 per day, per vehicle.

BEMA Deadlines And Cancellation Policy

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: 5:00 PM CST, MAY 14, 2025

Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of business on Friday, May 16, 2025, will be refunded less a 10% cancellation charge. Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of business May 17^th through close of business on June 6^th will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after close of business on June 6, 2025.

Unique Networking Events

WELCOME RECEPTION
Connect with industry friends and colleagues and set the stage for a Convention full of engagement, learning and industry growth.  Beverages and light appetizers will be served.

SMALL GROUP DINNERS WITH BAKERS
Connect with customers in a small-group setting. BEMA will organize groups of bakers and suppliers for a personal dinner experience.  Spouses/adult guests are invited to attend small- group dinners.  We do ask that you make other arrangements for children during the small group dinners.

• Who Attends? Pre-registered baker and supplier business attendees and their adult guest. Teens and children do NOT attend small group dinners.
• Attire? Refer to restaurant dress code

PLEASE NOTE: There is a $75 fee, per-person, per-night. This $75 fee ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees by covering essential services, including transportation coordination, dinner arrangements, onsite staffing, and reservation management. These efforts are designed to enhance your convenience and allow you to focus on connecting and enjoying the event.

BEMA CONNECT: ONE MEMBER, ONE BAKER, CONNECTING
BEMA Connect introduces bakers to suppliers they aren’t currently working with and matches the baker’s needs with supplier solutions. Meet one-on-one with baker guests, speed dating style.

OLD SAN JUAN WALKING TOUR: NON-GOLF ACTIVITY
Not hitting the links this year? You can still network and meet other attendees at the Old San Juan Walking Tour. This tour brings 500 years of history to life, weaving tales of stunning architecture, legendary figures, and the rich, multi-layered heritage of Puerto Rico’s culture and people. This fun event will take place at the hotel at the same time as the BEMA Cup Golf Tournament.

• Who Attends? Pre-registered Attendees
• Attire? Comfortable flat walking shoes, loose clothing, sunscreen and/or hat.  It's also a good idea to bring a poncho in case of rain. 

CHAIRMAN’S DINNER
Celebrate a great year as we pass the gavel to the next chairman, then dance the night away.  The whole family is invited to this event!  Please plan on festive, yet casual party attire for the Chairman’s events.

Horseback Riding in the Foothills of the Rainforest
Experience the beauty and tranquility of Puerto Rico’s countryside on a guided horseback adventure through the lush tropical foothills of the El Yunque Rainforest. Accompanied by expert bilingual guides, you’ll journey along the scenic Mameyes River and into the heart of the island’s legendary natural landscape.

Ride the gentle yet spirited Paso Fino horses, renowned for their smooth and comfortable gait—often compared to the grace of a Tennessee Walker. These elegant horses make the journey both relaxing and unforgettable, even for those with little riding experience.
