Q: What got you into the baking industry?
A: At the time Colborne decided to move towards a direct sales force, my Dad thought I would be a good fit, so I went for it.
Q: Why do you love the business of baking?
A: When I compare my work experience to my friends’ in other industries, it is so clear and obvious that we have a very unique industry. The business relationships that we form go far beyond just business and end up being lifelong friendships.
Q: Who do you consider a mentor in the industry? Who has made an impact on your career?
A: Obviously my Father was a huge role model for me. He had incredible business instincts and an ability to relate to anyone on many different levels, which is what I try hard to be able to do every day.
Q: What goals do you have for your board membership tenure?
A: Retire in style!!
Q: What trend are you most excited about in the baking industry right now?
A: I love the trend in automation!!! Our customers are really feeling the benefits of automation given the many challenges they face.
Q: What was your favorite baked good as a kid, and now?
A: Has been and always will be…..Pies!!! Especially the ones made on a Colborne Pie Machine.
