Name badges are provided for all registered attendees. Your name badge is required at all organized functions. Name badges will be available at the BEMA registration desk.

While you never know what Mother Nature will bring, daily temperatures generally range from 68°F to 73°F, rarely falling below 64°F or exceeding 78°F.

Daily Resort Fee

The standard $50 daily resort fee has been reduced to $15 per day for BEMA Convention guests, and includes:

• Wireless internet for up to three devices in-room
• In-room coffee and tea set up
• Two bottles of water placed in-room upon check-in
• Nightly turndown service upon request
• Self-guided walking maps curated by the resort’s naturalist
• Access to The Link’s short game practice area (clubs required)
• Pool chair and umbrella usage
• Wireless cloud printing and additional business services
• Exclusive access to the Lexus Experience Amazing Drive Opportunity
• Fitness center access, including daily fitness and wellness classes
• Nightly live music via Terranea’s Sound Series

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: May 24^th, 2024.  After this date, BEMA cannot guarantee availability and rates.

Guaranteed Reservations

All reservations will require a non-refundable deposit equal to first night’s group room rate and tax at the time the reservation is confirmed.

Baker & Speaker Guests

Bakers are guests of BEMA and do not need to book their own hotel room. Emily Bowers will assist you in securing your reservation, as well as making any modifications.

BEMA has reserved various room types for our group. Prices are exclusive of tax, resort fee and parking fees.

Need more space? BEMA has secured a limited number of connecting rooms as well as a limited number of suites that will accommodate larger families. Please email Kelly Allen for assistance booking suites or connecting rooms.

*Sleeping room rates are quoted in US Dollars exclusive of applicable taxes and resort fee. A resort fee of $15 per night plus 10% tax per room per night will be charged.

Parking is available for $25 per day, per vehicle.

BEMA Deadlines And Cancellation Policy

HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: 5:00 PM PST, MAY 24, 2024

Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of business on May 31st, 2024, will be refunded less a 10% cancellation charge. Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of June 1st through close of business on June 14th will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after close of business on June 14th, 2024.

WELCOME RECEPTION
Connect with industry friends and colleagues and set the stage for a Convention full of engagement, learning and industry growth.  Beverages and light appetizers will be served.

SMALL GROUP DINNERS WITH BAKERS
Connect with customers in a small-group setting. BEMA will organize groups of bakers and suppliers for a personal dinner experience. Registered spouses and adult guests are invited to attend small group dinners, we do ask that you make other arrangements for children or teens during small group dinners.

BEMA CONNECT: ONE MEMBER, ONE BAKER, CONNECTING
BEMA Connect introduces bakers to suppliers they aren’t currently working with and matches the baker’s needs with supplier solutions. Meet one-on-one with baker guests, speed dating style.

BEMA CUP GOLF TOURNAMENT
Los Verdes Golf Course is a beautiful, Billy Bell-designed course that offers the best ocean views in the entire state of California. The nearby ocean makes putting a real challenge on almost every hole. Los Verdes Golf Course is considered by many to be one of the best golf values anywhere, tucked above the cliffs in Rancho Palos Verdes, California.

GOAT YOGA (NON-GOLF ACTIVITY)
Golf is for some, but not for all! Attendees can network and make new friends at the "non-golf" activity held while others are off competing on the links.  The class will be led by certified instructors while fun-loving goats interact with each & every participant, opening hearts, widening smiles, deepening stretches, strengthening cores & connecting individuals of all ages to their inner kid!

THEME DINNER
Set sail for an evening of smooth tunes and sea breeze vibes at the Nautical Nights theme party. Get ready to groove to the sounds of a live band, as they serenade you with timeless classics against the backdrop of twinkling stars and shimmering waters. Indulge in delicious cuisine and let the laughter flow as you enjoy a night of unforgettable fun.

AFTERGLOW
Whether you're in the mood for a classic cocktail, refreshing beer or tasty glass of wine, there will be a fantastic selection of beverages at Afterglow.  The bar opens at 9:00pm and will be self-paid.

CHAIRMAN’S DINNER & DANCE

Convention Cadets

Convention Cadets is a student program for high-school teens that would like a more involved level of participation at BEMA’s Convention. The Convention Cadets program will provide a professional learning experience where students will develop new skills, learn about the baking industry, and assist with the practical work of hosting a BEMA Convention. The Cadets will gain real-time work experience and have the opportunity will benefit from what BEMA does best, networking!
