Wes Luczak, Membership Manager for BEMA, had an opportunity to ask Nick a few questions about himself and the organization.
Q: Tell us about the products and services your company offers:
A: Danmatic is an industry leader in decorating and automatic tray-handling equipment, designed specifically for bakeries. We manufacture best-in-class seeders, sprayers, and water scorers, allowing our customers to push the boundaries of what is possible when it comes to decoration. Our automatic tray handling systems help streamline production lines, reduce workforce demands, and help eliminate bottlenecks. As a Danish company, we believe in finding the right solution and adjusting our equipment as necessary for each opportunity.
Q: What is something new or innovative your company has done recently?
A: Danmatic is routed in efficiency and quality, and because of that, we strive to reduce waste and push towards sustainable solutions. Recently, we have been able to reduce energy consumption and seed waste while improving product quality with the new Danmatic Décor unit generation II.
With our new generation II decoration unit, we can save up to 30% on seed costs and other decoration materials for bagels, artisan rolls, poppy seed buns, Kaiser rolls, and many more. We achieve this through a more accurate and effective seed depositing and adhesion method.
We also achieve up to a 50% reduction of energy consumption, as a result of our new gear types and motors combined with minimum belt friction.
