Daily Resort Fee
The standard daily resort fee has been reduced to $38 per day for BEMA Convention guests and includes:
*The resort fee is per room, per night in double or single occupancy rooms added to the room rate and 9% occupancy tax. There is no charge for children twelve (12) years of age and under, sharing the same room as the parents and using existing bedding. There will be an additional charge of $40 for the third and $40 for the fourth person thirteen (13) years of age or older in all categories. The maximum number of persons per room is four (4).
HOTEL RESERVATION DEADLINE: May 14, 2025. After this date, BEMA cannot guarantee availability and rates.
Guaranteed Reservations
All reservations will require a non-refundable deposit equal to first night’s group room rate and tax at the time the reservation is confirmed.
Baker & Speaker Guests
Bakers are guests of BEMA and do not need to book their own hotel room. Emily Bowers will assist you in securing your reservation, as well as making any modifications.

Cancellations for your BEMA Convention Registration received in writing by close of business May 17th through close of business on June 6th will receive a 75% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after close of business on June 6, 2025.

Convention Cadets is a student program for high-school teens that would like a more involved level of participation at BEMA’s Convention. The Convention Cadets program will provide a professional learning experience where students will develop new skills, learn about the baking industry, and assist with the practical work of hosting a BEMA Convention. The Cadets will gain real-time work experience and have the opportunity will benefit from what BEMA does best, networking!

SMALL GROUP DINNERS WITH BAKERS
Connect with customers in a small-group setting. BEMA will organize groups of bakers and suppliers for a personal dinner experience. Spouses/adult guests are invited to attend small- group dinners. We do ask that you make other arrangements for children during the small group dinners.
PLEASE NOTE: There is a $75 fee, per-person, per-night. This $75 fee ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for all attendees by covering essential services, including transportation coordination, dinner arrangements, onsite staffing, and reservation management. These efforts are designed to enhance your convenience and allow you to focus on connecting and enjoying the event.

BEMA Connect introduces bakers to suppliers they aren’t currently working with and matches the baker’s needs with supplier solutions. Meet one-on-one with baker guests, speed dating style.

Discover iconic landmarks such as Fort San Cristóbal, the inspiring La Rogativa sculpture, the serene Cristo Chapel, and the historic “Puerta de San Juan” (San Juan Gate).
As you stroll through the city’s narrow streets, marvel at the 17th-century Spanish ironwork adorning beautifully restored homes and admire the unique blue-black glazed cobblestones that tell the story of centuries past.

Restrictions: There is a good amount of walking, guests with limited mobility may prefer to select another tour.
Experience the beauty and tranquility of Puerto Rico’s countryside on a guided horseback adventure through the lush tropical foothills of the El Yunque Rainforest. Accompanied by expert bilingual guides, you’ll journey along the scenic Mameyes River and into the heart of the island’s legendary natural landscape.
Ride the gentle yet spirited Paso Fino horses, renowned for their smooth and comfortable gait—often compared to the grace of a Tennessee Walker. These elegant horses make the journey both relaxing and unforgettable, even for those with little riding experience.
Midway through the ride, enjoy a refreshing break at the river, where you can cool off with a swim in the pristine waters before heading back to the stables.

Required Attire: Closed-toe shoes and long pants are mandatory. Bathing suits are not allowed as primary attire, but guests can purchase pants or shirts at the gift shop. It's recommended to wear a bathing suit underneath clothes if planning to swim in the river, depending on weather conditions, and bring a towel. Additional suggestions are sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat.
Restrictions: 235-pound weight limit for riders, will be weighed upon arrival. Minimum age is 3 years old. Weight limit on carry-ons is 8 lbs. (this includes backpack/purse/handbag). Guests under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older. Expectant mothers cannot participate, nor should guests with back problems.
Riders will be asked to sign a waiver onsite or in advance via link or QR Code before participating on this excursion.

Required Attire: Guests must wear comfortable closed-toe shoes and long pants; open-toe shoes and shorts are not allowed. It's recommended to wear clothing that can get muddy and bring a bandanna or handkerchief for mouth coverage. Sunglasses or goggles are suggested for eye protection from dust, dirt, or gravel. Guests may also want to wear a bathing suit under their clothes and bring a towel if they plan to swim in the river.
Restrictions: Expectant mothers or guests with back problems should not plan on attending. Maximum combined weight limit – 450 pounds. Drivers must be at least 16 years old and must bring a physical valid driver’s license. Drivers and passengers cannot switch mid-ride. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by someone 18 or older.

Set off on an eco-friendly adventure aboard a Chiliboats Waterbike!With easy pedaling, excellent stability, and top-notch safety, explore the Condado Lagoon estuary. Glide under the Guillermo Esteves, El Ferrocarril, San Antonio, and Dos Hermanos bridges, and get a closer view of Fort San Jerónimo. With a bit of luck, encounter manatees, turtles, stingrays, and other marine life in their natural habitat.
Experience unique marine landscapes in the heart of the city! This 100% eco-friendly experience is a must during any visit to Puerto Rico.

Restrictions: The activity is conducted on double Chili Boats, with individual units available for odd-numbered groups. The weight limit per participant is 250 pounds, and the maximum weight capacity for double Chili Boats is 450 pounds. This activity is suitable for individuals between 4 feet and 6 feet 5 inches tall. Although it is a gentle physical activity, please consider your physical condition and any limitations before participating.
Not suitable for individuals with claustrophobia or fear of darkness. If you have any cardiac or medical conditions, please consult with your doctor and bring your medications if necessary.
Set sail on an exhilarating journey from the vibrant Puerto Chico Marina, where your guide will welcome you and provide a comprehensive safety orientation for your fully equipped Mini Boat. With every “Captain” and their crew prepared for the adventure, the voyage begins along the dramatic bluffs of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Nature Reserve.
After a scenic 30-minute sail, arrive at the breathtaking Icacos Cay, a hidden gem boasting turquoise waters, pristine beaches, and soft coral sands. Here, you'll enjoy snorkeling, free diving, and refreshing snacks from your onboard cooler as you soak in the natural beauty of this uninhabited paradise.
The adventure doesn’t stop there—after an hour on Icacos, your journey continues along the picturesque island chain to a second destination. Along the way, guides will share fascinating insights into the natural history of the reserve, point out highlights of the surrounding scenery, and lead you through another unforgettable snorkeling session.
As your coastal exploration concludes, sail back to Puerto Chico Marina, bringing a perfect day of sun, sea, and adventure to a close.

Restrictions: Mini Boat Captain must be 18 years of age, and must present a Photo ID at check in. Children riding as passengers must be 6 years or older and be accompanied by an adult. There is a per person weight limit of 300 pounds and a total, per boat limit of 650 pounds. We strongly recommend against guests with neck, back, arm, leg problems or cast taking part in this activity. Expectant mothers, guests with recent surgery, epilepsy, heart conditions and/or dizziness should not plan to take part.
We cannot exceed 3 participants per boat (within the weight limit). All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish. Guests that show signs of intoxication by Drugs or Alcohol will not be allowed to participate.
