Trey Muller-Thym is the President of Thymly Products

Kelly Allen, Membership Manager for BEMA, had an opportunity to ask Trey a few questions about himself and the organization.

Q: Tell us about your company and the products/services you offer:

A: Thymly Products Inc. is a 3rd generation family-owned manufacturer of quality food ingredients since 1967. We serve all aspects of the food industry and have the ability to formulate ingredients to your needs. Thymly offers baking powder, dough conditioners, shelf-life systems, grain products, powder milks, flavors, and clean label options.

Custom ingredients are also available, allowing you only to scale and stock one item. With safeguards built in, your batter or dough will be more tolerant. Our Ingredients are widely used by the following industries: sweet goods, bread, tortilla, and snack foods. Onsite professional technical help is offered to help solve any of your food-related problems.

Q: What is something new or innovative your company has done recently?

A: Thymly Products continues to develop new enzyme technologies that help all aspects of baked goods. We also have transformed baking powder by offering many custom versions to meet customer label declarations or auditing bodies.

Q: What do you love most about the baking industry?

A: I love the family atmosphere and friendships I have made over the years.

Q: How did you get started in the baking industry?

A: I attended my first baking convention while in my mother’s belly and have never left.

Q: What drew you and your company to join BEMA?

A: Friends telling me that I was missing out and needed to join.

Q: What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

A: Breaking bread with Friends and Family.

Q: Anything else you want our members to know about you or your company?

A: Our company continues to have year-over-year growth due to the relationships we build.
